The results of the all-Ukrainian round table «Prospects of development of food industry of Ukraine»

General Information

     19 March 2014 at the Kyiv national trade-economic University, together with the Association of Ukrainian producers of " ice cream and frozen products» held Ukrainian round table " Prospects of development of food industry of Ukraine”. The purpose of this event was the discussion of the current state and urgent problems of development of food industry of Ukraine, problems of harmonization of national normative documents of branch with the European requirements, as well as development trends and objectives of the food industry on 2014

     In the round table participated representatives of governmental and public organizations: the Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine, Institute of food resources UAAS,the  State enterprise ’Ukrainian scientific research and training centre of problems of standardization, certification and quality», the State veterinary and phytosanitary service of Ukraine, the national Association of manufacturers m’meat and m’meat products of Ukraine "the Plant’meat”Union of dairy enterprises of Ukraine. Wide representation was the leading enterprises of food industry of Ukraine - JSC " Zhytomyr butter plant», JSC «Hercules», PGO, APVT ’Firm Please”, LLC "sweet Tooth», JSC «Khladoprom», LLC "pyryatinsky delicacy», LLC "Dolinka», LLC "the Company BIOPROM», LLC PTP «Agroprocessing», LLC "Ice Zaporozhye», LLC &; "Dolce Italia", LLC "Dansko Ukraine”, LLC "TO THOSE", LLC "Crown», LLC "in Addition, Ukraine”, LLC "Ternopil plant of frozen foodstuffs,” and other representatives of the media - newspaper ’Pischevik», magazines ’Gross», «the World of food», «World of packaging», «Food UA. 

     About the readiness of the agricultural sector to export products to the EU, the necessity of harmonization of normative documents with European requirements, the main directions and results of activity of Ukrainian producers Association " ice cream and frozen products” said the President of the Association bartkovskiy Igor Ilyich. Special attention of the participants of the round table was devoted to analysis of production volumes, export and import of ice cream, m’meat products, macaroni, frozen vegetables and mushrooms in Ukraine by 2013, the structure of consumption by the population of Ukraine, the discussion of the developed and approved regulations on ice-cream and frozen food products.

     in Addition, it was established that in 2013, is in the greatest demand in the market of frozen semi-finished products enjoyed a following companies: JSC «Hercules»TM ’s kicking»TM ’SmaCom»TM “Please”, TM ’Wasp” and other

     Director of the Department of food of the Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine Kuts Alexander Ivanovich emphasized security problems, and the Samaritan.the bones of food products in both domestic and foreign markets, procurement of dairy industry enterprises and activities that will contribute to the development and effective activity of  the enterprises of the agrarian sector of Ukraine.

     Executive Director AUVM and RFP Irina Semenovna Gudz has reviewed the work of the degustation Commission for the assessment of quality fillings, glazes and wafer products, Commission on determining the best packaging for ice-cream and frozen products, and also reported on the establishment and composition of specialized tasting commissions to assess the quality of the ice cream and dairy products, m'meat and frozen products.

     the Outcome of the meeting of the round table was the discussion of the enactment of DSTU ‘Icing and coatings for ice cream. General specifications»; development of DSTU "ice cream m’and liquid mixes for manufacturing. General specifications»; amendments in accordance with GOST ‘milk ice cream. Technical specifications” according to the proposals of the Euro-Asian Council for standardization; conducting the all-Ukrainian ice cream festival (may 24 and August 24, 2014) and II-nd International exhibition " the World of ice cream and cold " & Milk and m’clear industry of XXI century” (18-20 March 2015).

     the results of consideration and discussion of topical issues of the food industry of Ukraine is competent for solving the identified problems the participants of all-Ukrainian round table " Prospects of development of food industry of Ukraine” Blvd and Jerusalem. is determined the main tasks of lobbying of interests of the enterprises of the food industry in the structures of the state and active participation of the enterprises in development of normative acts and laws of Ukraine in the agricultural and food sector, access to goods and services on the domestic and foreign markets, harmonization of Russian normative documents in the sphere of food industry with European requirements.
