28 March 2014 in Kyiv national University of trade and Economics, Department of philosophical and social Sciences held the all-Ukrainian student scientific-practical conference ’Universal and national dimensions of life and creative work of T. Shevchenko" (to 200-anniversary of birthday). The conference worked seven sections: “the Idea of Ukrainian statehood in the works of Taras Shevchenko"; "socio-cultural imperatives in the works of Taras Shevchenko"; "the life and works of T. Shevchenko in controverso world politics and culture"; "Measurements of Ukrainian mentality in spiritual heritage of T. Shevchenko"; "Biographical discourses of the Great Kobzar in modern Shevchenkove"; "the Phenomenon of T. Shevchenko in the context of a modern educational processes in Ukraine"; "Historical and socio-political archetypes in the works of Taras Shevchenko». Were delivered on the sections 98 reports, among which 14 were prepared by the students of all departments of KNTEU other UNIVERSITIES of Ukraine. Students and professors were talking about their impressions from the multi-faceted and magnificent talent brilliant poet. According to the results of the conference were published abstracts volume 10 drank. The conference was held on a high scientific-theoretical level in the form of artistic and cultural presentations. The participants noted the importance of such conferences for national education students.
