Round table "Quality of management training: principles, technologies, prospects"

may 15, 2014 Department of management of KNTEU was held a round table „Quality management training: principles, technologies, prospects”. The aim of the event was to discuss topical issues of the training of managers and challenges of partnerships between business and universities, to identify new reference points of the content of the curriculum, which should meet the requirements of the labour market.
In the round table participated representatives of the Center ’CSR Development”, Institute of electric welding named. E.A. Paton, higher educational institutions and scientific organizations, engineering company ’New light.

In his opening speech Professor Department management KNTEU, N’etnicka stressed the importance of combining theoretical and practical training of managers to ensure high quality of their education, drew attention to the necessity of increasing the motivation of students in the process of professional training and strengthening of the partnership SV’links between UNIVERSITIES and business.

Yankovskaya in his report presented the results of investigations of the role of partnership between bisasom and universities in Ukraine. She stressed that the most common model of partnership that has developed today in Ukraine, is training specialists for the needs of companies through the internship program. However, this model has no effect on quality of preparation of graduates of the UNIVERSITY as a whole. O. Yankovskaya emphasized that the model of an effective partnership between the company and the UNIVERSITY is required mandatory’be sure to include several types of cooperation and in order to have influence on the process of preparation of future specialists in General; in General, the partnership should combine two aspects: partnership in teaching and in research and innovation.

Savchenko shared experience of the organization of interactive training and practice for the students in his company. Noted that the duration of the internship significantly affects the acquisition of professional skills of future managers, and therefore should be conducted, since 1 – 2-year students.

Buy drew attention to the necessity of active cooperation of higher educational institutions with CCTristani while providing practical training of managers in the framework of integrated production practice on the specialty, which will promote further employment.

Therefore, the business should always be kept policy timely change of generations and training of new specialists in management.

According to the results do roundtable worked out specific measures to improve the quality of training of managers and of increasing social responsibility of business on the basis of partnership. Recommendations were proposed:
- for gradual acquisition of professional skills to organize the production practice of students of each school year, starting from the 2nd year;
- to increase the period of internship with the aim of providing the best adaptation of students to the real practical activity;
- provide for the possibility of transferring the discipline "self-management" (time management) on 1-2 course to form already on the 1st course students of relevant competencies;
- to search for new places for training of students with the help of the Internet and store them in a special database;
- strengthen feedback'relationship between supervisors from UNIVERSITIES and enterprises with the purpose of strengthening control over the work of students at the bases of practice;
to combine partnership of UNIVERSITIES and existing enterprises in the educational process and research activities with the aim to create and realization of innovative projects.
