tourism Day – world-famous festival which is celebrated all "tourist" and the adventurous. Annually September 27 celebrate Day of tourism in Ukraine and the world tourism day, established by the world tourism organization (featured).

On the occasion of the “tourism Day – 2014» the Kyiv national University of trade and Economics September 22, 2014 was held intellectual game " What? Where? When?&"which was organized by the Department of hotel and restaurant and tourism business.

the First game this year was special because of its theme, because each question was formed to uncover the mysteries of our beautiful planet. It would seem difficult to make at the same time logical, informative and unusual questions, but it ’s professional expert» intellectual competitions lecturer in hospitality and tourism business Sergey Chlopak  is a virtuoso of his craft and as brightly as all the years before, was able to make a list of difficult and at the same time interesting questions.

Opened the current season “What? Where? When?» Dean of the faculty of restaurant-hotel and tourist business Tkachenko Tatiana. Congratulating all participants with the beginning of the celebrations on the occasion of the “tourism Day – 2014”she said that KNTEU became the first educational institution in Ukraine, which began training in the direction of "Tourism".

“you want to Travel and I wish each of you, however, participating in the intellectual-cognitive game, you travel, learn more about our great and even not known until the end of the world!” – said the Dean.

Intellectual competition aroused great interest among the students, the event was attended by 67 participants: 12 teams and one player out of competition.  Players represented all the faculties, and MGTB – all courses. In the audience was dominated by “hot” atmosphere in every sense of the word, competition and "brain" the activity is morally fueled facilities, and a large number of participants – physically. However, there were enough seats for everyone and after two hours of intense, yet friendly game.

I Also want to note students who showed their patriotism came to the University in embroidery. It is really beautiful and attracts the eye.

the Competition was held in 2 rounds 12 questions each. The game was attended by teams: "BRAINSTOP», «SPOCK», «Tourists», «the Eye of Sauron», «TAPE», «Olympus», «Obsidian», FGTB 1-8, "Dream Team", "the Principle of Pushkin ,  it ’Pun», «schrödinger cat" and 1 player out of competition.

truly “hot” became, when the time came summarizing – three teams scored maximum points! To determine the winner of the tournament they all fought to the last for first place in the blitz round.

Third place took «BRAINSTOP» in this part: Klochay Vadim (FOAC 4-3), Petrenko Vladimir (FEMP 3-23), Babasu Javid (FEMP 3-11), Antonyuk Nicholas (FEMP 3-11), Vasilevska Margarita (FEMP 3-11) and Alexander Andrienko (FEMP 3-16).

Second place was shared between the "Eye of Sauron» and «SPOCK» (students FGTB).

«the Eye of Sauron» 1-year 7-th group FGTB: Anna Yakovleva, Shafarenko Olga, Fil Yaroslav, Karkoszka Alexander and Vent Olga.

«SPOCK» (Champions of intellectual games, which confirmed my title): Rabola Vladislav (PGTB 5-9), Sex Games (PGTB 3-9), " Romina (PGTB 5-9), Valeriy Kononenko (PGTB 5-9), Musicin Alla (PGTB 5-9) and Hanowski Basil (HTTP 3-1).

winners the first scientific tournament "What? Where? When? – 2014– this year was the team «SCOTCH», which consisted of second-year students FGTB: Tinyc Irina (group 5), Curly Dmitry (group 5), Lip Natalia (group 5), Makharinsky Catherine (11 group), Glace Olga (group 9) and Shapovalov Alice (group 9).

Award winning teams will be held in the framework of the events dedicated to «tourism Day – 2014» University October 4, 2014.

Students showed a decent level of knowledge and friendly team play. Thank you to the students who showed their patriotism and came to the competition in embroidery. We take pride in every connoisseur and I hope that each year the number of registered participants will grow!
