Discussion platform "the Use of educational technology for students enrolled in foreign language programs" and round table "Problems and prospects of teaching English disciplines in the educational process"

October 17, 2014 at the Kiev national trade and economic University in the format of International scientific-methodical conference ‘SMART-EDUCATION: resources and perspectives» for the first time held a discussion platform on the theme ‘Use of educational technology for students enrolled in foreign language programs" round table "Problems and prospects of teaching English disciplines in the educational process.
Teachers who have been teaching professionally-oriented courses for students enrolled in English-language master programmes ’Management of foreign economic activity», «international Economics», «Management tourism business», «Management of trade organizations», «enterprise Finance» and «Turizmovedeniya» discussed and discussed the issues that arise during the teaching of English, in particular:
– methodological approaches to enhance student learning on foreign language programs;
– methodological support of training of students of English-language master's programs;
– use of interactive teaching methods in practical classes;
– practical implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies while teaching English programs;
– the requirements for an English-language papers patterns of their plans;
– the direction of improving the teaching of a range of financial disciplines;
– the search for effective tools of interaction between the lecturer and audience.
the participants in the discussion platform discussed current problems and future directions of cooperation, have made the task of all discussion points and suggested in the future to discuss methodological, didactic and pedagogical aspects of teaching in English-language programs. The recommendations discussed in the roundtables will be sent to all teachers involved in the English process.
