In his speech, the rector of the Kyiv national trade and economic University Mazaraki Anatoly Antonovich noted that the diversity of impacts of tourism in all spheres of public life led to the recognition by scientists of sustainable development of this industry as a system, the center of which is people. In addressing the key issues of sustainable tourism development becomes a significant factor  accessibility and continuity of quality education throughout life as the basis for self-identity. The implementation of the provisions of the new Law of Ukraine " On higher education" in the educational process requires a serious rethinking of the forms and methods content of socio-humanitarian, a fundamental part of the educational and professional training of specialists for the sphere of tourism at different levels of higher education that involves the scientific content of the programs of study, simultaneous introduction in the educational process service, managerial, technological and other innovations, their professionalization. The rector expressed his confidence that the consolidation of efforts of educators, scientists, representatives of business and authorities will ensure the achievement of goals.

     High scientific level of the conference was set by the report of the Director of the StateOh institutions ’Institute of Economics and forecasting of NAS of Ukraine", doctor of economic Sciences, Professor, academician of NAS of Ukraine, honored worker of science and technology, Vice-President of the NAS of Ukraine Heets V.M. on the subject of "the Marshall Plan to rebuild the economy of Ukraine", which outlined the strategic direction of the revival of the Ukrainian economy in difficult conditions and the role of tourism as one of the priorities of its development.
