the Students talked about the history of popular Christmas salad ’Olivier’s”, his classic technology, the interpretation of formulae in the Soviet era and modern approaches to the preparation of this salad, taking into account the transformation of community attitudes to healthy eating. While shooting the TV show the students made 2 choices of salad ’Olivier’s : traditional technology and modern version of a low-calorie salad ’Olivier’s” for health food, in which instead of mayonnaise industrial production suggested the use of mayonnaise, cooked with olive and linseed oil, boiled potatoes were replaced with roasted celery root, boiled sausage – boiled chicken. Students were assured that this alternative technologies salad ’Olivier’s” will be much more useful on new year's buffet for adults and children. Bon appetit!
