Kioto park: Sakura in full bloom
General Information
Everyone who came to Kyoto park these days
fully realize that the flowering of the Sakura trees is spectacular
and Kyoto park – true Japanese styled park in
Kyiv.
The Alley of Sakura trees were
planted in 2012 during visit of Mayor of Kyoto to Kyiv on the
occasion of 40th anniversary of establishment of friendly relations
between the cities. Park has 348 sakura trees and was added to the
Book of Records.
The beauty of the sakura blossom
is a potent symbol equated with the evanescence of human life and
epitomizes the transformation of Japanese culture throughout the
ages.
