of Marketing

The faculty and post-graduate staff of the department takes an active part in conducting scientific research and publishes the results in Ukrainian and foreign scientific publications, including those included in international scientometric databases, and tests them at conferences.

The department has two scientific schools - on strategic brand management; in digital marketing and advertising business. 1 doctoral student and 7 graduate students are studying. Teachers are members of the editorial boards of scientific journals and are involved in reviewing journals included in the scientific and metric databases Scopus and Web of Science.

In 2023, the staff of the department carried out two research topics "Innovative marketing technologies in the conditions of the globalization of society" (I quarter of 2021 - IV quarter of 2023) and "Sociological aspects of consumer behavior of the population (I quarter of 2021 - IV quarter of 2023). In the process of carrying out research topics, the teachers of the department published 11 articles in journals included in Scopus and Web of Science, 12 articles in University publications, 31 articles in specialized publications, took part in 46 international scientific and practical conferences, published 71 abstracts of reports and 39 reports were made. In September-October 2023, two dissertations were defended for obtaining the scientific degree "Doctor of Philosophy".

In March 2023, the department organized the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Brand Management: Marketing Technologies". In December 2023, two textbooks "Strategic Marketing" (authors O.S. Bondarenko, T.M. Yankovets) and "Digital Marketing Technologies" (author T.M. Yankovets) were published.

In 2023, the teachers of the department underwent advanced training within the online courses "Academic integrity of teachers", "SMM: the foundation", Foundations of Digital Marketing and E-commerce, Uni-Biz Bridge from UGEN: Adaptability and flexibility of the teacher" and the Professional Development Program̈ employees of higher education and accreditation institutions to integrate the course "Marketing of IT products".

The teachers of the department actively involve young students in research work on the problems of advertising business, brand management, marketing management, digital marketing, trade marketing and activate them to participate in various scientific events. From October 2021, the Student Theater of Experimental Marketing "Marketing 5.0" was launched at the department. In 2023, 156 abstracts of reports were published with the participation of winners; 57 of them are individual. Also, 156 awardees took part in 19 conferences (86 in-person, 70 in absentia).

The department plans to continue participating in the Erasmus+ program directed by Jean Monet. In 2023, the first attempt was made to submit a grant application "European experience of territorial marketing". We are searching for and expanding cooperation with new partners and employers
