Computer and mathematical modelling is an applied scientific field that ensures the development of the intellectual component of modern software products and computer systems.

Goal. The educational program “Computer and Mathematical Modelling” is aimed at training bachelors who are able to formulate and solve practical problems and complex scientific problems using fundamental and special applied methods of mathematical and computer sciences; develop mathematical models, perform mathematical and computer modelling using modern analytical, numerical and computer methods; create and operate appropriate high-tech software.

Content. The program of professional training in computer and mathematical modelling provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills and abilities to successfully use fundamental and applied mathematical methods, methods of forecasting, optimization and decision-making, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer mathematics systems and software tools using modern information technologies, development and use of computer and mathematical models of complex processes, phenomena and systems of different nature to solve complex applied problems in various fields of science, technology, economics and finance, social and political spheres, ecology and security, regional and national economy, global and local difficulties of social development.
