The main purpose of the Centre is to cooperate with stakeholders, offer advice and practical assistance to KNUTE students in their internship and future employment, maintain feedback and monitor career development.

The main tasks of the Centre are:

• to establish a database of enterprises, institutions and organizations – potential employers;
• to develop documents regulating the practical training and employment of students, look after the implementation of valid agreements;
• to organize interviews between employers and students or graduates;
• to participate in international programs to provide graduates with working places, bases for practical training and internships;
• to search, register and select information on vacancies for graduates;
• to plan and coordinate the work of the faculties and graduate departments to organize practical training and employment of students who wish to work part-time; to ensure the effective use of bases for practical training; to place information on temporary work on the University website;
• to inform students, graduates, deans, department heads оf the University about the vacancies and relevant internship programs at enterprises, institutions and organizations;
• to organize the following seminars: "Technology of Job Search", "Writing a Resume", "Effective Self-Presentation", Interviewing Techniques" etc.;
• to hold individual consultations on the strategies of looking for a job, preparing a professional resume;
• to organize informational and promotional work aimed at announcing employment events held at the city and university levels;
• to hold events promoting the successful employment of university students and graduates (Job Fairs, Career Days, master classes, presentations, trainings, round table discussions, meetings with the best University graduates etc.);
• to conduct a survey of students in order to study their employment needs;
• to monitor the employment of the best graduates and watch their career growth, to attract them to University events.
