Center for Distance Education deals with the following tasks:

• development of an integrated system of the University distance education;
• organizational support and maintenance of the Center for Distance Education site;
• implementation of successful experience in the use of distance learning technologies;
• conducting research on the problems of distance learning systems development;
• administration and support of the KNUTE distance learning system;
• administration and maintenance of the KNUTE Laboratory of Distance Learning web-site;
• study and implementation of positive experience of technologies for administering distance learning systems;
• providing consulting services for information content of the distance learning system sections and entries.
