International activities

Ljubljana School of Business (Visoka šola za poslovne vede) offers bachelor degrees in the field of Business Informatics, Marketing and Management as well as master degrees in Management and Informatics  and Marketing Management. 

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program projects under the Key action 1 "Learning mobility for individuals" between the State University of Trade and Ljubljana School of Business, an academic mobility program for students is being implemented.

For students of the 3rd-4th year of the bachelor's degree and master’ s degree students in "Managmentand Administration", “Business informatics”, “Marketing”.

The language of study/teaching is English.


Project news


Cooperation of SUTE with the Ljubljana School of Business within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program

Even in the difficult and tragic times of the war, the State University of Trade and Economics continues to implement Erasmus + projects of the European Union in the direction of KA1: "Learning (academic) mobility". This year, 6 research and teaching staff members of SUTE took part in international academic mobility and visited the Ljubljana School of Business (Ljubljana, Slovenia) in period from March to June.

As part of short-term visits, representatives of SUTE (Department of International, Civil and Commercial Law; Department of Administrative, Financial and Information Law; Department of Tourism and Recreation; Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business; Department of Economic Theory and Competition Policy; Department of Management) conducted lectures in English and also took part in the "International Erasmus Week", where they had an opportunity to present Ukraine and SUTE.

International academic mobility of SUTE teachers to the Ljubljana School of Business has given the opportunity to work in an international team and gain experience from foreign colleagues. Negotiations to deepen cooperation and submit new international projects were also held with representatives of the international department. Representatives of the Ljubljana School of Business expressed their support and solidarity with Ukraine.

It is also worth mentioning that 9 students of SUTE took advantage of the Erasmus + scholarship program and successfully completed a semester at the Ljubljana School of Business in the second semester, from February to June 2022.


Semester studies of SUTE students in leading higher education institutions within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program

Even in the difficult and tragic time of the war the projects of the European Union Erasmus+ KA1 "Learning (academic) mobility" continue to be implemented at the State University of Trade and Economics. These programs are aimed at realizing the right to international academic mobility and are an important component of the university's internationalization strategy in the international educational space. Leading European higher education institutions – partners of SUTE express their support and solidarity with Ukraine, hope for further fruitful cooperation, and also provide assistance to our students and academic staff.

14 students of SUTE took advantage of the Erasmus+ scholarship program and are studying abroad for a semester (from February 2022 until now). 9 of them are studying at the Ljubljana School of Business (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and 5 students are studying at University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Würzburg, Germany). Our students show themselves abroad not only in conscientious study, but also in active participation in various events in support of Ukraine. In particular, students attend rallies and anti-war actions, engage in volunteer activities.

It’s important that Erasmus+ student exchange is bilateral. Two students from the Ljubljana School of Business – Nika Kofalt and Zan Turk studied at SUTE on the bachelor's program in English "Management of foreign economic activity" in the second semester of the current academic year.
