PURPOSE OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

The educational program "Management of Foreign Economic Activity" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education is one of the leaders at the university in terms of the number of trained specialists, launched in 1991 in response to the need of the labor market for specialists in the management of foreign economic activity.

The purpose of the EP is to train highly qualified specialists through the optimal combination of managerial, economic and legal components, which allows graduates to make and implement managerial decisions in the field of foreign economic activity related to planning, organization of foreign economic operations, formation of enterprise development strategies, access to foreign markets; formation of the basis of knowledge of higher education applicants for practical activities in the field of management of foreign economic activity.

The training of applicants is focused on the request of business, and among the current employment opportunities for graduates of the educational program are positions: foreign economic activity manager, export manager / export manager, procurement / supply manager, E-commerce manager, service business foreign trade manager, customs clearance agent / broker, category foreign trade manager, commercial / sales agent, authorized import/export enterprise, expert on foreign trade activity, specialist-analyst of the subject of foreign economic activity.

PARTNERS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM INVOLVED IN THE FORMATION OF THE CONTENT OF TRAINING AND PRACTICAL TRAINING

The main partners-employers and stakeholders where our graduates work and undergo practical training are: the National Bank of Ukraine, the State Institution "Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office", the State Customs Service of Ukraine; The Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, large business companies (Imperial Tobacco Production Ukraine PJSC, Myronivsky Hliboproduct PJSC, Epicenter-K LLC, Halychyna Dairy Company LLC), manufacturing and trading entities of small and medium-sized businesses, own export-oriented business.

MAIN ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES (SUBJECTS) OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

The educational and professional program "Management of Foreign Economic Activity" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education is designed in such a way that applicants can achieve the expected learning outcomes within a certain time. In total, the educational program provides 240 credits, of which 162 credits are allocated for compulsory components (consists of 21 disciplines), two term papers, respectively 3 and 6 credits are provided for practical training in the 3rd and 4th years, 3 credits for preparation for certification, 9 credits for the preparation and defense of the final qualification work. The focus of the educational program for the training of managers of foreign economic activity is revealed through the mandatory components: Management, Theory of Organizations, International Credit Markets, World Market of Goods and Services, Foreign Economic Activity of the Enterprise, International Trade and Economic Law, Pricing in World Commodity Markets, Organization of Foreign Trade Operations, Practical Course "Business Simulation", International Marketing Management. Since the educational program is a unique combination of managerial, economic and legal components, the following disciplines are also offered: Higher and Applied Mathematics, Foreign Language for Professional Purposes, Law, Philosophy, Ecology, Information Technology in Professional Activities, Macro- and Microeconomics, Statistics, Economics and Finance of Enterprise, Accounting and Taxation, International Logistics.

The construction of an individual educational trajectory is provided by the university through the possibility of a wide choice of components by the applicant. The curriculum provides 60 credits for elective disciplines. The applicant can choose from the list of disciplines proposed by the graduating department for the OP "Management of Foreign Economic Activity" that contribute to the deepening of professional competencies, as well as from a more diversified list of disciplines taught at the university, information on which is posted in the Catalog and constantly updated.
